Meet the owner

Run by people
who know the road.

GBE Logistic LLC is a small operation on purpose. The voice that answers the phone is the voice behind the wheel, so what you hear about your freight comes from somebody who has actually looked at it. No dispatch desk between you and the load.

What we haul

Two trailers. One standard of care.

A dry van for freight that has to stay clean and dry. A flatbed for freight that has to be seen, chained and strapped. Different trailers, the same habit of checking the load before the wheels turn.

Dry van

53′ · Enclosed

Palletized and boxed freight, warehouse-to-warehouse runs, and anything that cannot take weather. Loaded tight, braced at the nose, doors sealed and paperwork checked against the freight before we pull off the dock.

How we load it
A flatbed trailer loaded with strapped bundles of lumber

Flatbed

Open deck · Secured

Steel, pipe, lumber, building supply and equipment. Chained, bindered and strapped with the right count of tie-downs for the length and the weight, plus tarps when the load calls for them.

How we secure it

Freight we handle

If it fits the deck or the box, ask.

A sample of the freight that keeps the truck busy. Not on the list? Send it anyway — the answer is usually yes or a straight no.

Palletized dry freightDry van
01

Palletized dry freight

Wrapped, stacked and blocked so it rides the way it was packed.

Pallets, cartons, bagged goods and boxed product loaded to the nose and braced so nothing shifts between here and the receiver.

Warehouse to warehouseDry van
02

Warehouse to warehouse

Dock-to-dock runs between distribution centers and 3PLs.

Straight through from one dock to the next, with the paperwork checked against the freight before we pull out.

Steel and structuralFlatbed
03

Steel and structural

Beams, plate and pipe chained and bindered on a wood deck.

Structural steel, bundles of pipe and plate loaded with the grade of securement the load calls for and checked again before the ramp.

Lumber and building materialsFlatbed
04

Lumber and building materials

Bundled lumber and building supply, strapped for the highway.

Units of lumber and building supply strapped and edge-protected, with the tarp question settled before we commit to the load.

Machinery and equipmentFlatbed
05

Machinery and equipment

Compact equipment loaded, blocked and strapped to the deck.

Skid steers, mini excavators and small machines on the deck, blocked and strapped, with the tie-down points chained over the frame.

Partial loads and multi-stopDry van
06

Partial loads and multi-stop

A few pallets heading the same direction, or two stops on one run.

Short loads and two-stop days on lanes we are already running, so a partial does not have to wait for a full truck.

Why ship with GBE

What we promise
before we promise a rate.

We are not going to tell you we have hauled for thirty years or that we have a thousand trucks. Here is what we will actually do on your load.

One truck today.
Treated like the only one.

01

Handled like it is ours

Pallets squared and braced, steel chained and bindered, lumber strapped and the tarp question settled before we commit. Damage claims cost everybody more than the load is worth.

02

The driver answers the phone

You get a direct number to the person behind the wheel, not a dispatch queue or a portal login. Need a check call or an ETA for the receiver? Ask and you get an answer.

03

Scheduling you can build around

We give you a real pickup window and we hold it. If something on the road changes the plan, you hear it from us early enough to do something about it.

04

Equipment kept ready

A clean dry van that keeps freight dry, and a flatbed with the chains, binders and straps on the truck. Equipment gets looked over before the run, not at the shipper.

The equipment

Dry van box, flatbed deck, and the chains, binders and straps that go with it. Looked over between runs, not after a problem.

Send a load

Five fields and a phone call back.

Tell us the lane and what is on the trailer. We come back with a real rate and a real pickup window, usually the same day. If we cannot cover it, we tell you that too, so you are not waiting on us while the load sits.

All questions

Faunsdale, Alabama is home base. From there the week runs across the South and up into the Midwest. Tell us the lane and we will tell you straight whether we can cover it.

Pickup and delivery city or zip, what the freight is, roughly how much it weighs or how many pieces, when it is ready, and whether it is a dock or a driver-load. With those five things we can come back with a number instead of a question.

The same person who is hauling it. You get a direct number, not a hold queue, and you can ask where the truck is without going through three people first.

Yes. Send your setup request through the broker page and we will return your packet complete, with the paperwork filled in the way your office needs it.

Tell us the tarp requirement when you send the load and we will confirm what it needs before we commit. We would rather ask twice at booking than argue at the receiver.
